My Artworks
Twenty five years ago I started attending art classes when I was living in Sydney. After the birth of my third child, I needed some time to breathe. Those 3 hour classes at Bondi were the beginning of my love affair with the process of art making. I love trying new techniques especially when other people say it is not the correct way to do things. Since February 2019, I moved into The Mill working alongside other artists. I feel this move has contributed to the development of my art to a deeper level.

Since my early twenties I have felt a burden about the way aboriginal people have been treated by European settlers since colonisation. This painting is my way of honouring their culture and the way they relate to the Australian land with respect and awareness.
